PT KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES - The 72nd chapter of mato's DARLING in the FRANXX! four-panel spinoff manga announced on Tuesday that the manga will end with the next chapter on Wednesday.
PT KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES - Mato (The Emperor and I) launched the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website and app on January 14, and it has updated on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. The manga's title is DARLING in the FRANXX! written in the phonetic hiragana alphabet. PT KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES - Studio Trigger and A-1 Pictures' original science-fiction anime premiered on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, GTV, and BS11 at 11:30 p.m. on January 13 and ended on Saturday. Crunchyroll streamed the series with English subtitles and Funimation is streaming an English dub. Kentaro Yabuki (To Love-Ru -Trouble-, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness, Black Cat, Mayoi Neko Overrun!) launched the main manga adaptation of the series on January 14. The story is set in the distant future. The land is ruined, and humanity establishes the mobile fort city Plantation. Pilots produced inside Plantation live in Mistilteinn, also know as the "birdcage." Children live there knowing nothing of the outside world or the freedom of the sky. Their lives consist of battling to carry out missions. Their enemies are mysterious giant lifeforms known as Kyōryū, and the children pilot robots called Franxx to face off against them. For the children, riding the Franxx proves their existence. A boy named Hiro is called Code:016, and he was once known as a prodigy. However, he has fallen behind, and his existence seems unnecessary. Not piloting a Franxx is the same as ceasing to exist. One day, a mysterious girl known as "Zero Two" appears before him. Two horns grow out of her head. Qualcomm never commented on the rumors about its plans to find a buyer for Centriq, despite Axios and Bloomberg both reporting on them, and as a result never confirmed or denied the proposition: ultimately leading others to speculate. Followed by Anand Chandrasekher’s swift exit, again without public comment about reasons or replacement, and now another senior figure exiting the scene, brings more questions to the table than it answers.
PT KONTAK PERKASA - The team behind Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies server platform, Qualcomm’s Centriq, has been in the news this past year as one of the key players in bring Arm architecture cores to the server and enterprise market. So far the time line looks like this:
PT KONTAK PERKASA - In 2017, Qualcomm announced the Centriq 2400 family of processors, built on Arm architecture cores at 10nm, for the enterprise and server market. This was meant to be the big break for Arm cores in the server market by a massive player that has the engineering staff and infrastructure to build a sizable customer base. The biggest version of the design implemented 48 of Qualcomm’s Falkor Arm v8 cores, paired with 60 MB of L3 cache, six channels of DDR4, running at a 2.2 GHz base frequency for 120W TDP and a price just shy of $2000: it was set to compete aggressively in the cloud server markets in performance per watt, overall performance, and cost. To date, Cloudflare has made the biggest noise about transitioning its DDoS protection platform from x86 to Centriq. Back in May this year, almost at the same time as reports suggesting that Qualcomm was looking to offload (sell/close) the server processor division, Anand Chandrasekher left the company without much of a warning, at least publically, and aside from a personal tweet about leaving Qualcomm, no official note was given as to Anand’s replacement. The reports regarding the company offloading the server division were never confirmed, and behind the scenes several trusted sources reached out to AnandTech to say that this wasn’t really the case. Qualcomm has kept mum on the issue. Fast forward to today, and another surprise hit our screens. One of the key members of the Falkor team, Dr. Dileep Bhandarkar, VP of Technology at Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies (QDT), seems to have parted from the company. Dileep was very much a key person for Falkor, purposefully spending time to track us down at Hot Chips after we published our detailed microarchitecture analysis and introduce us to the engineers, as well as chairing the Server Processor round of talks at the same event. The reasons for Dileep’s transition out of QDT are unknown. His departure was discovered due to his speaker biography for SemiCon West 2018 stating ‘formerly Qualcomm’. Dr. Bhandarkar’s role is an important one here: he was a Director of Advanced Architecture at Intel for 12 years until 2007 (being a lead spokesperson for Intel’s server platform technologies), is an IEEE Life Fellow, has spent almost six years at Microsoft driving innovation and standards for its datacenters, and then a similar amount of time at Qualcomm working on technology strategy and business development, developing (among other things) machine learning accelerators currently in use at a major cloud provider. It would appear that rather than joining another industry behemoth, he is starting his own DNN based business. So normally we don’t particularly comment on these sorts of transitions at big companies unless they are C-level (CEO, CTO), however the narrative surrounding Qualcomm’s Centriq product line is still one that is perceived to be in flux. Qualcomm never commented on the rumors about its plans for Centriq, despite Axios and Bloomberg both reporting on them, and as a result neither confirmed nor denied the proposition officially, ultimately leading others to speculate. Followed by Anand Chandrasekher’s swift exit, again without public comment about reasons or replacement, and now another senior figure exiting the scene, brings more questions to the table than it answers. Whatever Qualcomm’s plans for Centriq have been, they seem to have stalled. It would appear that the product still does not seem to be available on the open market from the standard server manufacturers, and despite lots of talk citing the products wins over Xeon chips, nothing new has been said for quite a while. These OEMs are instead pushing Cavium’s ThunderX2 designs, which seem to have been gaining traction. Despite discussing with the Centriq team about being sampled for review in Q4 last year, that never materialized. Bloomberg also reported (via notices filed at a state level) a few weeks back that the company was cutting its datacenter unit in half, with up to 280 jobs on the line. It is possible that Dr. Bhandarkar's departure may have been one of these. The same report states that Qualcomm will continue its joint ventures in China, and rather than closing the unit will ‘persevere with a revised strategy’. “Qualcomm remains committed to data-center opportunities and is not divesting the assets,” Amon said to Bloomberg. “We are reducing our investments in the data-center business but remain committed to our China JV and to refocusing our R&D efforts for upcoming compute opportunities.” Source : anandtech.com KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES - The next World of Warcraft expansion, Battle for Azeroth, is scheduled to launch in August. With just over a month until the launch of the pre-event to set the stage for BfA, and with most players feeling the Legion doldrums, it’s the perfect time to bone up on the lore behind the faction conflict, the centerpiece of BfA, and to study up on the growing tensions between Horde and Alliance. KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES - As many lore fans understand, much of the story behind World of Warcraft actually never appears in the game itself. To gain a full understanding of the truncated story during the game requires players to read novels, comics, manga, short stories or to watch cinematics or other commercially-produced videos. Even fan videos based on the above serve a purpose in providing “the big picture”. KONTAK PERKASA FUTURES - Of course, it needs to be said that the lore in World of Warcraft is, to put it mildly, fluid and subject to change based on both the whims of the writers or the fact that gameplay often takes precedence over lore when the need arises. So all the caveats aside, here’s how you can try to catch up with the World of Warcraft story. The Chronicle Three Volume Set The first World of Warcraft Chronicle was released in 2016 with subsequent volumes released in 2017 and 2018, each targeting a specific time period in the history of Azeroth. The idea behind the series is to provide deep lore behind every race, every conflict, every major personality as well as present them in readable “digest” form. The coffee-table sized books also feature full color artwork, intricate maps and much more for the discerning reader. As mentioned above, however, it needs to be said that even the “definitive” series that details all the lore behind WoW is not always immune to change. More than a few stories have been “retconned” in Chronicle: Volume 3, the latest in the series, though mentioning which ones would be spoilerific, so we’ll leave it at that. WoW Comics Blizzard is big on comics these days. Every IP in the company’s stable has its own comics that help fill in some of the untold stories in each. WoW has a nice backlog of comics that stretch back into Mists of Pandaria. Continuing that tradition, the first BfA-themed comic, Reunion, has already been published. It fills in some crucial information about Jaina Proudmoore after she disappeared during the opening moments of the battle against the Burning Legion. We know that at least two more comics will be coming out. The next comic has already been previewed, in fact, and should be out later this week. Called The Speaker, it is centered on Magni Bronzebeard, a now neutral character that is known both as the King of Diamonds (due to his new physical appearance) and as The Speaker of Azeroth. While not Battle for Azeroth specific, there is a nice archive of WoW-related comics. You can find them all here. Short Stories One of the central components of BfA is, of course, the faction conflict. We’ve already seen several leaders present in alpha including Jaina Proudmoore, Anduin Wrynn, Sylvanas Windrunner, Gallywix, Baine Bloodhoof, Genn Greymane and others. Many of the racial leaders have had stories on the WoW site for a long time and if you’re looking to “get to know” them and to learn more about motivations that could come into play during BfA. If you love short stories and the characters and locations in WoW, head here to read / download the current crop. Audio Drama
Starting in Warlords of Draenor, Blizzard released a series of multi-part audio dramas hearkening back to the old days of radio serials enjoyed by generations past. Warlords saw a four part series called The Tomb of Sargeras, while Legion fans finally learned the backstory behind the disappearance of Alleria and Turelyon called A Thousand Years of War. It remains to be seen if Blizzard will produce any audio dramas for Battle for Azeroth, but they seemed quite popular, so we’re hoping so. Cinematic Videos One of Blizzard’s hallmarks is high quality cinematics stretching all the way back to 2004. Cinematic developers have always stretched the bounds of what has been thought possible and have shown the stories in WoW in ways most don’t expect. That, of course, also goes for Battle for Azeroth. The cinematic video designed to introduce BfA during last year’s Blizzcon literally “WOWed” (pun intended!) the audience and we’re likely to see more as the expansion nears, raids are released, etc. Novels & Other Print Materials Of course, Blizzard has been invested in tie-in novels since the dawn of the Warcraft strategy game. You can check out a definitive, chronological list here. Of course, like all expansions before it, Battle for Azeroth will also have a prequel novel published. Penned by Christie Golden, now a full time writer on the WoW team, Before the Storm is set for release on June 12th, though we will have a review next week. The Horde and the Alliance defeated the demonic Burning Legion, but a dire catastrophe is unfolding deep below the surface of the world. There is a mortal wound in the heart of Azeroth, struck by the sword of the fallen titan Sargeras in a final act of cruelty. For peace to be possible, generations of bloodshed and hatred must be brought to and end. But there are truths that neither side is willing to accept and ambitions they are loath to relinquish. As Alliance and Horde alike grasp for the Azerite’s power, their simmering conflict threatens to reignite all-out war—a war that would spell doom for Azeroth. Kuliah Itu Bukan Cuma S1, Jenjang D3 atau D4 Juga Asik, Kok. Bahkan Lulusannya Lebih Siap Kerja7/4/2018 PT KONTAK PERKASA - Kalau lagi ngomongin rencana kuliah, kayaknya strata yang kita bahas cuma S1 saja. Strata lain, kayak D3 atau D4 jarang banget dibahas apalagi jadi pilihan. Kalau pun diungkit sejumlah stigma negatif dan keraguan pasti ditempelin.
PT KONTAK PERKASA - “Biar sekalian, mending langsung kuliah S1 aja nggak sih?” Gimana, guys? Udah ngerti, kan, tentang strata D3 dan D4? Jadi, semuanya kembali kepada kebutuhan diri masing-masing, kalau kalian ingin menitikberatkan praktek daripada teori, kalian boleh pilih D3/D4, tapi kalau kalian mau belajar teori banget, cobalah masuk S1!
